BB Senshi Unicorn Gundam (Unicorn Mode)

My first gundam feature on this blog, and it's non other "the" gundam at the moment, Unicorn Gundam. As the gundam UC line begins to fall out from everyones mind, Gundam Unicorn OVAs start to enter the big screen and with that all the gundam UC fans worldwide. Piloted by Banagher Links, RX-0 Unicorn Gundam is an improved version of the RX-93 Nu Gundam used during Char's Counterattack. With its entire frame lined with psycho frame receptors, this unit has increased response and can be piloted like an extension of the pilot's own body (Gundam Wiki).

Overall, the proportions on this is pretty good and the range of movement is... well, SD. Transformation gimmick is not full, however, concealment of the NT-D system is fairly well done. A lot of places need to be touched up to obtain a colour accurate Unicorn Gundam and the clear red is spray painted with Tamiya Clear Red to get this vibrant red colour rather than the original pinkish version.

Guess what's next ~~

  1. I like the simplicity of Unicorn Gundam and the potential its possesses from the last pic. Those red 'warning stickers' and emblem were well pasted and panel lining looks neat. You have more features of your own collection these days and it's making your blog more unique. Nice one!

  2. Thanks bro! The panel lines are done using panel line wash for this model, as it has a lot of hard to reach parts. I trim the stickers so that it can match the surface area better. I wanted to post my collection more often too but kinda lazy to set up the area for photo shooting though. =p
